Nelson Policies to make a donation to Lloyd’s charity Habitat for Humanity Great Britain
In 2019, Lloyd’s Charities Trust launched a new disaster resilience partnership with Habitat for Humanity Great Britain. The move is part of Lloyd’s ongoing response to emerging risks and the challenges they pose to communities across the globe.
One focus of the Habitat for Humanity Great Britain charity is to remodel existing land throughout the country, so housing can be built on it to help overcome the housing challenges some of the most vulnerable people in the country are facing.
Nelson Policies at Lloyd’s is pleased to announce it is making a donation to the Habitat for Humanity Great Britain venture.
Sharing his enthusiasm of Nelson’s involvement in the charity, Tim Simpson, CEO of Nelson’s Policies at Lloyd’s commented:
“The Nelson Group, a UK based MGA and established Lloyd’s coverholder, is delighted to further its support to the Lloyd’s market and Habitat for Humanity Great Britain, a charity closely linked to Lloyd’s of London, by donating the Profit Commission generated from a Delegated Underwriting Authority placed into Lloyd’s by Meridian Risk Solutions and underwritten by Dale Underwriting Partners.”
“The charity which has a focus on renovating and building on existing land to tackle the housing crisis across the UK to help vulnerable people, resonates with the Nelson team who were keen to help by supporting Lloyd’s of London and their wider charity relationship with Habitat for Humanity Great Britain,” Tim Simpson added.
